Lonesource Acquires NOI Supply
CARY, N.C. – Dec. 1, 2009 – Lonesource, a company that helps businesses quickly and easily obtain the everyday products and supplies they rely on to do business, has acquired NOI Supply, a division of Nashville Office Interiors (NOI). NOI Supply is one of the largest independent dealers of office products in Tennessee with operations in Nashville, Memphis and Chattanooga.
This acquisition brings together two high-growth companies with one common commitment to its customers and employees. Lonesource will retain NOI Supply’s approximate 44 employees and 33,000 square feet of warehouse and office space.
“By acquiring NOI, we are combining a wide range of products, expertise and resources that will provide even greater value to our customers, employees and shareholders,” said Lonesource CEO Bradley King. “We now have access to two additional major league markets that align with our growth strategy.”
Bob Hesson, NOI Supply’s general manager, will assume the role of Lonesource general manager and vice president of the Tennessee market.
“Lonesource will arm NOI Supply and its customers with one of the fastest-growing brands, a robust technology platform, amplified service offerings and expanded products,” said Hesson. “This acquisition represents a tremendous growth opportunity for both companies.”
While NOI’s furniture division focuses on contract furniture and interior design, the office supply division was created in 1935 to focus on office supplies and mid-range furniture. NOI will continue to operate as a contract furniture company.
