Lonesource Recognized for Fast Growth

Office consumables provider earns spot on TBJ’s Fast 50 list

CARY, N.C. – Nov. 10, 2009 – Lonesource, a leading provider of consumable indirect supplies, business optimization services and purchase-tracking technology, has been named one of the Triangle’s fastest-growing private firms. The Triangle Business Journal’s 17th Annual Fast 50 Awards were presented Nov. 5 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center in Research Triangle Park.

Over the past year, Lonesource completed and integrated two acquisitions, broadening its physical presence into Atlanta, Ga. and Greensboro, N.C. Lonesource’s current focus is new market expansion in the Southeast. In July, the company expanded its customer base into the Piedmont Triad and gained nearly 200 customers in three months. Last month, Lonesource initiated outreach and began obtaining new customers in Charlotte.

“Our company’s operational efficiency, growth strategy and first-rate employees have enabled us to combat the economic recession,” said Lonesource CEO Bradley King. “We’re grateful for the work our employees did to facilitate this success and honored to be a recipient of the Fast 50 Award.”
